Consolidating 2 itunes libraries
This will effectively merge content of all your devices in a single i Tunes library. Use i Tunes to re-sync your devices which will re-load your content back on to them, and let you add any new purchased or downloaded content to your your i Pods.
To do this, open i Tunes, connect your device, and click on your device icon.
This meant a couple of extra steps which I’ll detail below. One key prerequisite is that both old and new libraries must be sorted by i Tunes - you need to use the “keep my music library organised” option so that i Tunes organises your files by artist and album.
You’ll need a bit of patience and some spare disk space to do this properly - also note that I did most of this on a Mac, so if you’re on Windows your mileage may vary slightly. If you don’t do this, you’ll have a tricky time merging the two folder trees together (unless they both use the same custom sorting scheme, but you’ll be lucky). Due to the difference in i Tunes library versions, the first thing I did was update the older library to the latest schema.
This will move all your i Tunes media files, from wherever they are stored on your computer, to the i Tunes folder.
Thus, after you consolidated your i Tunes library, all your i Tunes contents will be stored in a single place.
To merge content of your i Pods or i Phones follow these simple steps. Download Touch Copy and install it on your computer. Then start Touch Copy and connect your first i Pod or i Phone.

Apple lets you share DRM-protected content between up to five computers. Click “Advanced” and click “Turn On Home Sharing” on the Advanced submenu.
I am nervous about copying the second i Pod to i Tunes for fear that it will overwrite the first library.
Take advantage of the i Tunes Home Sharing feature to sync music, videos, podcasts and other media between two computers that share your business’ local area or Wi-Fi network.
Simply use Copy Trans Tune Swift, if you want to transfer i Tunes to an external drive or another folder on your computer.
